Description: This violin has a one-piece maple back, two-piece medium grane spruce top,and moderate arching. With a golden red brown varnish, and a deep, powerfull,very projected sound with easy responde, and very good for high level players.

Back Measurements: Lenght 361mm. Upper bout: 165mm. Middle bout: 113mm. Lower bout: 201mm.

Johann Baptist Schweitzer was a notable figure in Austria violin making and his name often appears in commercial instrumenets of the 19th century. This present example is particulary appealing botch to the eye and the ear.
